The Mounted Sliders for Pendulum Skid Tester are used with the Pendulum Skid Tester to measure the potential for automotive tire skidding on pavement as well as the skid resistance of surfaces and polishing tendencies of aggregates. Sliders consist of graded rubber pads mounted to an aluminum backing plate.
The Small, 1.25in (32mm) Mounted Slider is used to test polishing wheel specimens.
