The ASTM Non-Mercury Thermometer has the same laboratory qualities as ASTM Mercury Thermometers, but uses a safe, blue liquid instead of mercury.
Each of the ASTM Non-Mercury Thermometers contains a proprietary formula that is nontoxic, environmentally friendly, and contains no hazardous materials. The non-toxic liquid in each thermometer has a dark color that makes it easy to read.
