The Hanna Instruments BL101-20 ORP Controller and Dosing Pump BL101 is a complete system designed to maintain the ORP of swimming pools, hot tubs, and spas. Featuring a wall-mounted, built-in pump and IP65-rated casing, this controller and dosing pump is an inexpensive solution for pool owners and maintenance companies to maintain the ideal ORP value at all times.
With an ORP range of -2000 to 2000 mV, the BL101 is capable of controlling chemicals to adjust the ORP level of your pool, all while ensuring that it stays within a specified range. The system is capable of a selectable flow rate of 0.5 to 3.5 L/hour or 0.13 to 0.92 G/hour with a manual control for pump priming.
The BL101 has an intuitive alarm system, which employs red, light green, and green color-coded backlight, and alarms for high and low with enable/disable options triggered after 5 seconds if the system records a set of consecutive readings over/under threshold values, a level with enable/disable option overtime protection (1 to 180 min. or off). An external event input, which includes an input for a level controller or flow switch to disable the dosing pump in the event of no chemical, is also included.
This controller and dosing pump also comes with several options. The BL101-00 is supplied with a HI20083 ORP/temperature probe, ORP test solution (3), power connection cable, instruction manual, and quality certificates for instrument and probe. The BL101-10 (with in-line mounting kit) comes with a pool controller aspiration filter, pool controller injector, 1/2” thread, saddle for Ø 50 mm pipe (2), a flexible aspiration PVC tube (5 m), dispensing PE injection tube (rigid) (5 m), valves (2), ORP test solution (3), power connection cable, instruction manual, and quality certificates for instrument and probe. The BL101-20 (with flow-cell mounting kit) comes with a flow cell for BL100/BL101, mounting panel assembly for BL100/BL101, pool controller aspiration filter, pool controller injector, 1/2” thread, saddle for Ø 50 mm pipe (3), a flexible aspiration PVC tube (5 m), dispensing PE injection tube (rigid) (15 m), tubing adapter 1/2” - 6 mm with racord (2), valves (2), ORP test solution, 20 mL (3), power connection cable, instruction manual, and quality certificates for instrument and probe.
The recommended probe for the BL101 is the HI20083 Platinum tip ORP/Temperature probe with quick connect DIN connector - galvanically isolated.
