AMS 425.45, 1 1/4" X 12" Plated Replaceable Tip Soil Recovery Probe
Brief Description
Replaceable Tip Soil Recovery Probes are used with liners, and feature a tip that can be replaced after heavy use. The probe may also be used with option AMS soil probe tips for application in varying soil conditions. Replaceable tip soil recovery probes include the probe body, top cap, 10" comfortably-gripped cross handle, a plastic liner, two plastic end caps, a replaceable coring tip, and a spanner wrench. The 1 1/4" diameter soil probes are available in either a 12" or 24" lengths. These soil probes also feature the exclusive AMS "Reach and Grab" system – which consists of a specially threaded top cap that allows the liner to protrude from the top of the soil probe body. This system allows you to easily remove the liner from the soil probe body without disturbing the sample. Note: liners for these probes are also 1 3/4" longer than the specified length of the sampler.
