Brief Description
Reinforced Mud Augers are specially designed for heavy-duty augering in moist, unconsolidated soils conditions. They are built to withstand unusual, and considerable amounts of power. Three gussets are added to our popular AMS Mud Augers to prevent the top of the soil auger from twisting or bending. AMS reinforced mud augers feature two openings in the cylinder wall to facilitate emptying as well as wider spaced bits than the AMS regular soil auger to ease entry of sticky soils. Reinforced Mud Augers are special order items that may take up to one week to make. Please do not order them to be shipped Next or Second Day Air. Please make sure any AMS samplers you intend to use together share a common connection type.
