Constructed from durable stainless steel or nickel alloy plated steel, this load cell is built to withstand the rigors of demanding testing environments. It comes equipped with a four-wire cable that outputs voltage signals compatible with two- or four-channel data readout units (sold separately). Threaded mounting holes on both the top and bottom ensure secure and easy installation.

Applications:

This S-Type Load Cell is highly adaptable and can be used in a variety of testing scenarios:

• Compression Testing: In tests such as unconfined compression or CBR/LBR, the load cell is positioned between the load frame and test apparatus or piston to accurately measure compressive forces.
• Direct-Shear Testing: For tests requiring both compression and tension measurement, the load cell is mounted between the shear box and a fixed point on the frame.
• Advanced Material Testing: For triaxial shear, Marshall stability, indirect tensile, Lottman, SCB, or similar tests, the load cell ensures a uniform point of contact between the cell and the testing setup for reliable results.
