Constructed from durable stainless steel or nickel-plated alloy steel, the S-Type Load Cell is designed to withstand the rigors of laboratory and field testing. It features threaded mounting holes on both ends for secure and easy installation, and includes a four-wire cable for seamless integration with two- or four-channel data readout devices (sold separately).
Applications:
Compression Testing: Ideal for unconfined compression or CBR/LBR tests, the load cell can be mounted between the load frame and test apparatus or penetration piston to deliver accurate compressive force measurements.
Direct-Shear Testing: Capable of measuring both tension and compression forces, this load cell is mounted between the shear box and a fixed point on the loading frame, making it an excellent choice for direct-shear testing.
