The Rainhart 662-TMP-SW is a 4.5lb supplemental weight designed for use with Rainhart tamping heads. Adding this weight is essential for performing Modified Proctor soil tests (ASTM D1557 & AASHTO T180), as it increases the hammer weight to meet the specific requirements of these standards.

All Rainhart tamping heads are interchangeable on a single shaft, removing the need for additional costly parts and making it easy to switch between test types.
