The TR8 Viscosity Spindle is designed for use with both Standard and High-Performance Rotational Viscometers. It is the lowest viscosity spindle in the TR8-TR11 range, making it ideal for testing lower viscosity materials, particularly asphalt binders.

Viscosity Range:

• Standard Viscometer: 14 to 3,000,000 mPa.s
• High-Performance Viscometer: 2 to 7,000,000 mPa.s
• Shear Rate: 0.92N

Compatibility: The TR8 spindle is compatible with both Standard and High-Performance Rotational Viscometers. Sample Chambers are purchased separately to fit the spindle. For labs running multiple samples simultaneously, additional stainless-steel chambers and spindles are recommended. Spindles can be purchased individually or as part of a complete set of four spindles (TR8-TR11), offering a wider viscosity range.

Common Applications: The TR8 spindle is most commonly used for asphalt binder testing, making it an essential tool for construction material testing labs.
