Measurement Capabilities

This viscometer offers an impressive viscosity measurement range of 15 to 60,000,000 mPa/s, making it suitable for testing both low and high-viscosity materials. The torque range spans 0.05 to 13 mNm, and rotation speed is fully adjustable from 0.3 to 250 rpm, giving you full control over your testing conditions.

Display & Interface

The device features a large 7-inch touchscreen for intuitive control and real-time data display. Key measurements — including viscosity (in Pa.s, mPa.s, or cP), speed (rpm), torque, shear stress, shear rate, and temperature — are all displayed simultaneously in multiple supported languages. Individual spindle programs can be stored and recalled for quick, convenient use, while password protection allows administrators to manage operator access and protect critical settings.

Temperature Measurement

Sample temperature data is captured via a built-in PT100 (RTD) temperature probe, with the option to connect an external PT100 probe for greater flexibility. Accurate temperature monitoring is essential for reliable viscosity testing, particularly when working with temperature-sensitive materials like asphalt binders.

Connectivity & Data Management

The Standard Rotational Viscometer is equipped with multiple data connection options, including mini-USB, RS-232, USB, and ethernet (LAN) ports, enabling seamless PC control, printer connectivity, and network diagnostics. Basic data logging software is included, allowing data to be exported in spreadsheet format to a PC or printed directly via USB. For more advanced data analysis, reporting, and computer control, Advanced Software is available as a separate purchase.

The viscometer accepts a wide variety of spindle and sample chamber combinations, allowing you to build a customized testing system tailored to your specific needs.
