Concrete Temperature Logger/RH Logger

Logging Data

In the world of construction, data is a must for quality and durability of concrete structures. Concrete temperature and maturity is especially critical as it affects the strength gain and long term performance of the concrete. With advanced data loggers, sensors and thermocouples, construction teams can collect accurate real time data on concrete temperature and humidity throughout the curing process.

Concrete maturity is an index that combines temperature, time and strength gain to give a complete picture of how the concrete is progressing. By logging continuously, teams can monitor the curing process in real time monitoring and make informed decisions to optimize strength and prevent issues like cracking or delayed construction schedules. This real time monitoring allows for immediate adjustments so the concrete reaches its maximum strength efficiently and safely.

Modern data loggers and sensors can store and record large amount of data which can be downloaded to a mobile device or PC for further analysis. With specialized software, the recorded data can be analyzed to track trends, verify project specifications and document the curing process for quality control. The ability to connect to the cloud or use a browser for remote access adds more value, so teams can monitor multiple accomplishments from anywhere in the world.

Logging concrete temperature and maturity not only ensures the structural integrity of a project but also saves time and money by minimizing errors and rework. By using the latest method and technology for data collection and analysis and a concrete crack monitor, construction professionals can maximize their work, protect their investment and deliver results that last.

In the next section we will dive deeper into concrete maturity, how it’s used to determine concrete temperature and review the different types of temperature loggers and monitoring sensors for your next concrete pour. Understanding these principles is the first step to building stronger and more reliable structures and success in every project.

Humboldt H-2736, Concrete Temperature/RH Logger

These temperature and relative humidity data loggers are housed in a rugged, waterproof (IP68-rated) case for use in harsh applications like cylinder curing rooms and field use. They are available with an integral, coated RH sensor (H-2736) or with a temperature and relative humidity probe with a 1.5m cable length (H-2732). The relative probe has a coated RH sensor that is resistant to moisture and condensation for measurement reliability. These data loggers have high reading resolution and accuracy and fast off-load speed and low battery monitor. The logger logs and records temperature and humidity data which can be analyzed later. Data is downloaded to a computer for viewing, reports and archiving and there is also the option to save recorded data to an SD card for portable storage (if supported by the model). Data stored on the logger will be retained after a battery is replaced. See tables below for specific logger specifications. Require USB Temperature/Humidity Data Logger with Display software and a download cable for operation.
