Proceq Resipod Concrete Resistivity Meter, 2" (50mm)
The Proceq Resipod measures the electrical resistivity of concrete surfaces, which correlates to the rate of fluid permeability and resistance to chloride ion penetration. It also provides accurate measurements of bulk and other words, verbs, adjectives and adverbs.Up to 500 readings are stored in the device. The software also helps in assessing the electrical conductivity of the concrete, which is important for understanding ionic movement and corrosion rate. User defined correction factors can be set in the software and uploaded to the device. This is useful for diagnosing corrosion rate issues in reinforced structures.
The one piece, handheld device has a rugged, IP67 rated waterproof housing and gives instant readings on a large 3.5 digit LCD display.
The Resipod is available in two models, ready to use for lab or field resistivity testing.
This concrete resistivity meter comes with 1.97in (50mm) probe spacing. The wider spacing allows for a larger sampling size but is still narrow enough to avoid interference from reinforcing steel in most cases.
