FLIR E8-XT Thermal Imaging Camera, 4 to 1,022F (-20 to 550C)
FLIR® Ex-Series Thermal Imaging Cameras offer instant detection of temperature gradients in many different materials. The color LCD display highlights problem areas fast, providing more advanced features than infrared thermometers can offer. These sophisticated instruments can be used for paving operations, bridge deck and floor slab inspections, location of delaminations, cavities, moisture problems in concrete and masonry prism walls, and other material testing applications.
FLIR® Cameras are compact, have a focus-free lens and simple navigation for easy one-handed operation, tough enough for rugged field use. The temperature range is between -4°–1022°F (-20°–550°C) depending on the model. Batteries last about four hours with quick charging available from the included AC charger. Models are rated to withstand shock values to 25g. Cameras combine thermal, visible, and MSX® imaging into one affordable package. MSX thermal image enhancement adds key details from the visible spectrum camera to the entire infrared image on the 3in color LCD screen, displaying accurate thermal gradients and visible details.
All models have 45° x 34° field of view with varying resolution for the MSX image. Enhanced MA-776 and MA-778 models feature better-infrared resolution, selectable measurement modes, and picture-in-picture display, which superimpose a thermal image over a visible spectrum photo. Up to 500 images (128MB) of infrared, visual, and MSX images can be stored as .jpeg files in internal memory for later analysis and reporting. The unmatched manufacturer’s warranty offers 10-year coverage on the detector, 5 years on the battery, and 2 years of parts and labor. FLIR® Tools software, USB Cable, and hard plastic Transport Case are also included.
E4 through E8 series cameras now include Wi-Fi connectivity for smartphones and tablets. Use the FLIR Tools mobile app to allow sharing images and reports from any location.
The E8-XT features a temperature range of -4°–1022°F (-20°–550°C) with a full, sharp 76,800 (320x240) Infrared pixel resolution and thermal sensitivity of less than 0.9°F (0.05°C). Measurement modes include center-spot or area box. Automatic hot/cold detection for maximum display definition is included. Image modes are infrared, visual, MSX, and picture-in-picture.
