At the heart of this heater is a corrosion-resistant titanium heating element, which ensures efficient heat transfer and long-lasting durability — even in saltwater environments. A flame-retardant protective guard surrounds the element, reducing the risk of accidental contact with heated surfaces and keeping your aquatic life safe.

The external digital touch controller and remote temperature sensor make it easy to monitor and adjust the water temperature without interfering with your tank's setup. With a temperature control range of 68–92°F (20–33°C) and a stability of ±2°F, you can trust that your tank will remain at the ideal temperature for your fish, corals, or aquatic plants.

A built-in memory chip is another standout feature, automatically restoring the last active temperature setting after a power outage — giving you peace of mind that your tank won't suffer from sudden temperature fluctuations.

The Finnex HMC operates on 110V, 60Hz. For use on a 50Hz power supply, the TR-502 Step-Up/Step-Down Transformer is required (sold separately).
