4in Square Shear Box

Shear Boxes are essential for testing the direct and residual shear strength of soil specimens using Karol-Warner Dead-Weight or Pneumatic Direct/Residual Shear Machines. These horizontally divided boxes are available in a variety of inch and metric sizes, with round or square shapes. Made from durable anodized aluminum with a Teflon® finish, they resist corrosion and ensure reliable performance. Each Shear Box includes two Porous Stones.

The 4in square Shear Box is specifically designed for testing soil specimens in direct and residual shear strength applications with Karol-Warner Dead-Weight Direct or Pneumatic Shear Machines. The horizontally split design allows for the application of opposing shear forces to the soil sample. Constructed from anodized aluminum with a corrosion-resistant Teflon® finish, it includes a top and bottom Porous Stone and a Loading Ball for efficient testing.
