4in Diameter Shear Box

Shear Boxes are essential for testing the direct or residual shear strength of soil specimens using Karol-Warner Dead-Weight and Pneumatic Direct/Residual Shear Machines. These shear boxes are horizontally divided and come in both inch and metric sizes, with options for round or square shapes. Constructed from anodized aluminum with a Teflon® finish, they offer durable, corrosion-resistant performance. Each shear box includes two porous stones.

4in (101.6mm) Shear Box

Designed for testing soil specimens in direct and residual shear strength applications, this round shear box is compatible with Karol-Warner Dead-Weight Direct and Pneumatic Direct/Residual Shear Machines. The horizontally divided design applies opposing shear forces to the specimen. Made of anodized aluminum with a Teflon® finish, it resists corrosion and includes a top and bottom porous stone along with a loading ball.
