Shear Boxes are essential for testing the direct or residual shear strength of soil specimens using Karol-Warner Dead-Weight and Pneumatic Direct/Residual Shear Machines. These horizontally divided boxes come in a variety of inch and metric sizes, available in round or square shapes, and are crafted from anodized aluminum with a durable Teflon® finish. Two porous stones are included with each box.

This round shear box is specifically designed for soil specimen testing with Karol-Warner Dead-Weight Direct or Pneumatic Direct/Residual Shear Machines. The horizontally divided design allows for the application of opposing shear forces on the specimen. Made of anodized aluminum with a corrosion-resistant Teflon® finish, it includes a top and bottom porous stone and a loading ball.
