Shear Boxes are essential for testing the direct and residual shear strength of soil specimens using Karol-Warner Dead-Weight or Pneumatic Direct/Residual Shear Machines. These horizontally divided boxes are available in both inch and metric sizes, with round or square designs, and are constructed from anodized aluminum with a durable Teflon® finish. Each box includes two Porous Stones.

This round Shear Box is designed for testing direct and residual shear strength of soil specimens with Karol-Warner Dead-Weight Direct or Pneumatic Direct/Residual Shear Machines. Its horizontally divided design applies opposing shear forces to the sample. Built from anodized aluminum with a corrosion-resistant Teflon® finish, the Shear Box includes a top and bottom Porous Stone and a Loading Ball for added functionality.
