2.0in Square Shear Box

Shear Boxes are essential for testing the direct and residual shear strength of soil specimens when used with Karol-Warner Dead-Weight and Pneumatic Direct/Residual Shear Machines. These horizontally divided boxes come in both inch and metric sizes, with round or square designs, and are made from durable anodized aluminum with a corrosion-resistant Teflon® finish. Each box includes two Porous Stones.

2in (50.8mm) Shear Box

This square shear box is designed for testing soil specimens in direct and residual shear strength applications with Karol-Warner Dead-Weight Direct or Pneumatic Direct/Residual Shear Machines. The horizontal division allows for the application of opposing shear forces on the specimen. Constructed from anodized aluminum with a Teflon® finish, it resists corrosion and includes a top and bottom Porous Stone, as well as a Loading Ball.
