Polyester is a versatile material known for its resistance to abrasion, acids, and alkalis with a pH of up to 9-10, as well as its excellent wet stability. For mesh sizes ranging from No. 100 to No. 230 (150 to 63µm), the resilient material is not needed.

The 10-inch, No. 80 (180µm) Polyester Square is specifically crafted for use with non-metallic or brass frames. It includes a resilient material embedded in the mesh, acting as a sealing gasket. The opening sizes match ASTM E11 specifications but may not meet strict tolerance requirements.
