Polyester is a durable material that resists abrasion, acids, and most alkalis up to a pH of 9-10, offering excellent wet stability. For mesh sizes No. 100 to No. 230 (150 to 63µm), the circular resilient material is not required.

The 10-inch, No. 70 (212µm) Polyester Square features a tough, resilient sealing gasket embedded in the mesh, designed specifically for non-metallic or brass two-part frames. These squares have opening sizes equivalent to ASTM E11 specifications, though they may not meet precise tolerance standards.
