Polyester is a durable material that resists abrasion, acids, and most alkalis up to a pH level of 9-10, offering excellent wet stability. For mesh sizes ranging from No. 100 to No. 230 (150 to 63µm), the circular resilient material is not required.

The 10-inch, No. 30 (600µm) Polyester Square is specifically crafted for use with nonmetallic or brass frames. It includes a tough, embedded circular gasket for a reliable seal. Opening sizes match ASTM E11 specifications but may not meet precise tolerance standards.
