Heavy Duty Steel Column Form for Concrete Forming, 34in Dia X 8ft
Deslauriers Heavy Duty Steel Column forms develop an exceptionally smooth, hard surface remarkably free of voids and with a minimum number of indistinct seams. The forms are galvanized constant radius steel half round sections and quarter round sections (for forms over 48" in diameter) bolted into units for crane handling on the jobsite.
Vertical and horizontal seams, opened and closed with each pour, are connected with high speed bolts to speed setting and stripping.
In addition to the standard column diameters shown, custom diameters and lengths are also available.
Lateral pressure should not exceed 3000 PSF on forms through 36" diameter or 2000 PSF on forms over 36" diameter.
Built-in 1-1/2" lifting holes on most 4ft and 8ft forms. Lifting design of 4000 pound per hole or 8000 pounds assembled. Deslauriers recommends using lifting spreader bar for lifting all column forms.
The Heavy Duty Steel Column Form for Concrete Forming, 34in Dia X 8ft, offered by Deslauriers, is a high-quality and efficient solution for creating strong and smooth concrete columns.
These column forms are constructed using galvanized constant radius steel half round sections and quarter round sections (for forms over 48" in diameter), which are bolted together into units for easy handling on construction sites. This design allows for an exceptionally smooth surface that is free of voids and has minimal seams, resulting in a high-quality finished product.
To facilitate quick and easy setting and stripping, the vertical and horizontal seams of the forms can be opened and closed with high-speed bolts. This feature significantly speeds up the pouring process, saving time and increasing productivity on the job site.
In addition to the standard column diameters available, Deslauriers also offers custom diameters and lengths to meet specific project requirements. This flexibility ensures that contractors can find the perfect solution for their unique needs.
The Heavy Duty Steel Column Form is built to withstand lateral pressure, with a recommended maximum of 3000 PSF for forms up to 36" in diameter and 2000 PSF for larger forms. This durability ensures that the forms can withstand the pressure and maintain their shape throughout the concrete pouring process.
For ease of handling, most 4ft and 8ft forms come with built-in 1-1/2" lifting holes. These holes are designed to support a lifting capacity of 4000 pounds per hole or 8000 pounds when assembled. Deslauriers recommends using a lifting spreader bar to ensure safe and efficient lifting of all column forms.
For additional information and resources, Deslauriers provides a Forming Manual, which offers comprehensive guidance on using their products effectively. They also offer a list of Standard Rental Forms and a range of other Concrete Forming items and Tremie Pipe and Products.
The Heavy Duty Steel Column Form for Concrete Forming, 34in Dia X 8ft, is a reliable and durable solution that enables contractors to create strong and smooth concrete columns efficiently and effectively. With its high-quality construction and design, it is a valuable tool for any construction project.
