The Digital Pocket Thermometer is a tough and perfect thermometer with a folding probe that’s easy to carry and calibrate. It’s also waterproof. This reads the soil temperature in 10 seconds. Unit is 3 1/4 inch (9 cm) long.

Since the temperature sensor is at the tip of the stainless steel probe, you can take soil temperatures at different depths. This is done by inserting the probe at different depth levels in the soil profile from one inch to three and a half inches deep. Unit has backlit display and shows max and min readings with separate button.
