• Use steel threaded rods for slabs over 8" (200mm).

JAWS Small Screed Chairs

JAWS Small Screed Chairs are designed to fit a variety of screed rail sizes, ranging from 1/4″ (6 mm) to 1-1/2” (40 mm). They are compatible with rebar or rods from 3/8″ (10 mm) to 5/8″ (16 mm). The internal “fins” inside the barrel securely grip the rebar or stake, ensuring it stays in place during placement.

Made from impact-resistant material, JAWS Small Screed Chairs are highly durable and virtually unbreakable. They can be configured in multiple ways using the FinStand and Base Plate, making them versatile for a range of applications.

FinStand

The FinStand is built from the same impact-resistant material, offering unparalleled durability. It supports a 1/2″ all-thread and can be adjusted up to 1.75″ (45 mm) using a nut and washer, accommodating variations in the deck. Refer to the chart below to determine the appropriate rod length for your desired floor depth.
