The Aquafog XE-2000-EXP is Jaybird's largest centrifugal fogging system. It is built for high-output industrial humidification, evaporative cooling, and environmental control in hazardous locations that require explosion-proof motor protection.
Instead of relying on high-pressure nozzles or spinning discs, the XE uses a nozzle-free centrifugal atomizer. This design helps prevent clogging while producing a high volume of ultra-fine fog.
The explosion-proof (EXP) configuration is made for classified environments where hazardous vapors, dust, or combustible particles may be present. The motor is rated for Class I, Group D and Class II, Groups F and G locations.
Important: Explosion-Proof Power Connection
Explosion-proof fogging units must be connected with properly rated explosion-proof electrical components, including both the male plug and the matching female receptacle. A standard plug, receptacle, or power connection will void the unit's explosion-proof protection.
Jaybird offers an optional explosion-proof male plug for the power cord. However, the customer or installing contractor must supply the female receptacle and all other associated electrical components, and each must be properly rated.
How It Works
The XE 2000 produces tiny droplets that evaporate quickly, making it ideal for humidification and evaporative cooling. A stainless-steel visual flowmeter panel regulates output. The unit can run continuously or be automated with a secondary controller.

Stainless-steel fabrication and UV-stabilized polymers hold up in demanding conditions. The EXP model includes 20' of water line and 16' of drainage line, and line lengths can be customized when you order.
