To ensure the Humboldt Concrete Air Meter operates dependably and lasts long, regular maintenance and care is necessary. Start by cleaning the concrete air meter with a soft brush and mild detergent to prevent dirt and debris buildup. This simple step helps maintain the accuracy of your readings.
Check the clamping system and o-ring for wear and tear and replace as needed to ensure a watertight seal which is critical for air content measurements. Calibration is also important; use the calibration tube and make necessary calibration to maintain the meter’s accuracy.
Store in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and extr temperatures to prevent damage to the materials. The plastic carrying case is designed to keep the kit organized and protected during transport. Always follow the operating carefully to get accurate results and dependable operation.
Check the gauge and pressure chamber regularly to ensure they are working properly. Use the tamping rod and strike-off bar to prepare the concrete specimen properly and make sure it is well-seated in the pressure chamber. Check the air void spacing and air content in the concrete to meet the required standards.
Refer to the user manual for more maintenance and care instructions and contact the manufacturer if you have any questions or concerns. Proper maintenance will extend the life of your concrete air meter and get you accurate and reliable results.
