SmartRock wireless concrete sensors are the most efficient and reliable way to monitor concrete temperature and strength in real-time. The SmartRock sensor is a wireless concrete sensor for real-time temperature and strength monitoring, collecting temperature data from two points independently: the probe at the tip of the cable and from within the sensor body. By using wireless data recording and automated strength calculations, these sensors simplify concrete construction processes and reduce the need for field-cured cylinders or cubes. With accurate temperature readings, including max, min and deltas, SmartRock ensures data collection from both the sensor body and probe for comparison. SmartRock sensor data is collected, reviewed and can be synced to the cloud dashboard for project management and quality control. Sold in packs of 10.
These sensors monitor temperature continuously and update strength calculations every 15 minutes, according to ASTM C1074. The SmartRock sensor is perfect for curing by tracking temperature changes and strength development according to ASTM C1074. This allows you to accelerate critical steps like form removal, reshoring and load application with confidence.
SmartRock sensors are embedded in fresh concrete within 2 inches of the surface by attaching them to rebar. The built in strap and fully embedded sensor attaches directly to rebar for easy installation. The sensors are installed before you pour concrete so data collection starts immediately during the curing process. Activation begins once the white temperature probe end is removed. Each sensor has a fully charged battery with long battery life, up to 4 months before battery replacement or recharging is needed and operates between -22 to 181°F (-30 to 85°C). Compact and durable, each sensor is 3.125 x 1.625 x 1.03 inches (80 x 42 x 26 mm).
Long-Range Sensors come with a 10ft (3m) temperature probe cable and have an extended wireless signal range of up to 1,000ft (300m). Sold in packs of 10.Using the SmartRock app on your smartphone or tablet you can collect, review and sync data to the Giatec 360™ cloud dashboard. The dedicated mobile app allows you to access temperature data and smartrock sensor data remotely in real time and view concrete strength from anywhere.
