Exact Air Pump Super Pump for Concrete Air Meter
The Exact Air Super Pump comes with check-valve and nylon o-ring so you have a secure and tight connection to your concrete air meter. This pump is built to last with solid construction and will last longer than other pumps on the market. It is also compatible with Gilson Concrete Air Meters and works with air meters from other manufacturers. The heavy duty build features cast aluminum and stainless steel components, and the inclusion of a brass pump ensures durability and long-term performance.
The hand pump enables building test pressure with fewer strokes, so you can test faster and more precise. This allows for quick and precise measurement of entrained air and concrete air content, perfect for busy labs and field work. For additional concrete strength tests, consider the Concrete Test Hammer, ASTM C805.
We offer a full line of Concrete Air Entrainment Meters and Parts to meet all your testing needs. From Tamping Rods for Slump Cone Tests which are used to consolidate concrete specimens to Concrete Strike-Off Bars that remove excess material we have the accessories you need for a complete entrainment. The kit includes a plastic carrying case, rod strike off bar, bulb syringe, inside calibration tube, unit weight measure, and a rubber mallet for calibration and maintenance tasks. Tamping rod strike is also included as part of the complete kit.
Need parts for your concrete air meter? We’ve got you covered. Our Replacement Gauges fit most Type B Concrete Air Meters. We also have a Replacement Air Pump to keep your concrete air meter running at its best.
Our air meter design has a robust lid, self locking clamps and a reliable clamping system. Proper tension is achieved to ensure a watertight seal, which is critical for accurate testing and no leaks during operation.
Read more about entrainment and related topics in our educational blogs. Our experts talk about the right pressure to test, concrete consistency and why concrete is so important in construction.
Calibration is key—be sure to calibrate your air meter regularly, make calibration adjustments as needed and rely on the gauge with calibration for accurate readings. The pressure chamber and pressure gauge work together to maintain and measure test pressure which is critical for accurate assessment of entrained air content.
The super air meter measures air void spacing, sam number and assess the concrete mixture for durability and freeze-thaw resistance.
When considering the capacity and operation of your air meter, think about the unit, volume, capacity, holding capacity and the importance of weight measurements for calibration accuracy.
Methods: AASHTO T152 ASTM C 231. For more information on asphalt penetration visit Certified MTP
What is an Air Meter
Concrete air meters are essential tools in the construction industry, designed to measure the air content in fresh concrete. The amount of air entrained in concrete is critical to its durability, strength and overall performance. Air meters such as the Humboldt Concrete Air Meter and the Watts Concrete Air Meter are engineered to deliver precise results so concrete meets the required specifications.
Technical Specifications
Safety is our top priority that’s why our equipment has a valve and nylon o-ring to prevent leaks and ensure consistent pressure. Our prices are competitive with various options to fit different businesses and locations. Our pumps are built to last an investment in quality and reliability.
Compared to other pumps in the market our equipment stands out for its accuracy, reliability and ease of use. Our machines are designed to give consistent results and our customer support including user manuals and video tutorials ensures our partners have all the resources they need to succeed. Other pumps may require manual adjustment or may not give accurate pressure readings, our machines are designed to be convenient and efficient, saving customers time and money. Also our pumps have a compact screen that displays the current pressure so customers can easily check and adjust the pressure as needed. This user friendly design makes our pumps a preferred choice for businesses looking to upgrade their service.
Applications
Concrete air meters are used across the construction industry to test the air content in freshly mixed concrete, a critical factor in ensuring the quality and durability of concrete structures. The air content directly affects the concrete’s strength, freeze-thaw resistance and overall life, making accurate essential for projects from building foundations to bridges and highways.
Air meters including the popular Type B meter are specified in industry standards such as ASTM C231 and AASHTO T152 which outline the procedures for measuring air content in concrete mixtures. By following these standards and using a calibrated air meter, contractors and engineers can verify it meets project specifications and regulatory requirements, ensuring the safety and durability of the finished structure.
In addition to field use, concrete air meters are also used in the lab to develop new mixes. Accessories like the calibration vessel and syringe are used to keep the meter accurate, the tamping rod and strike-off bar are used to prepare the sample. Regular maintenance and calibration of the air meter is key to reliable operation and consistent results. By following the manufacturer’s instructions and using the right accessories you can ensure your air meter gives you accurate air content readings to produce high quality for any project.
