The CONTEMP Accessory Pack is an essential companion for the CONTEMP Concrete Maturity System, designed to provide everything you need for accurate and reliable concrete strength monitoring. This comprehensive kit is perfect for initiating new projects or expanding data collection capabilities on larger job sites when used with additional CONTEMP Recorders. This specific pack includes a NIST Traceable Certificate, ensuring that your measurements are calibrated to nationally recognized standards for maximum precision and compliance.

How It Works

To effectively monitor concrete maturity, the two high-durability, waterproof probes are connected to a CONTEMP recorder. During the concrete placement process, these probes are embedded into the fresh concrete. The system then records temperature data, which is used to calculate the concrete's curing progress and in-place strength.

For easy identification and tracking, the probes are supplied in two distinct colors (one white and one black), though their technical operation is identical. Plastic tags and a permanent marker are included to clearly label each probe location. Once the monitoring period is complete, the probes are simply detached from the recorder and left abandoned in the hardened concrete. The CONTEMP Recorder can then be reused on subsequent projects with a new set of probes.
