Detailed Specifications
Description Chem-Crest ProPass is an advanced, phosphate-free citric passivation concentrate specifically engineered as a deoxidizer and cleaner. Its primary functions are to eliminate surface impurities, bolster corrosion resistance, and clear away discoloration, tarnish, scales, and oxides. As a proven alternative to nitric acid passivation, it successfully passes critical evaluations like ASTM A967. For tailored application guidance, please contact a Crest representative.
Typical Contaminants Removed This formula is designed to remove light oils, greases, minor scales and oxides, and other general contaminants from part surfaces. To maximize the efficacy and lifespan of the passivating bath, it is highly recommended to perform an ultrasonic cleaning cycle before beginning the passivation process.
Operating Conditions
