The 6,000g Pycnometer is a high-performance testing instrument designed to meet ASTM D2041/2041M and AASHTO T209 specifications. Ideal for use with mixes containing aggregates up to 2in (51mm), this pycnometer is built to deliver accurate and reliable results in a variety of testing environments.
Constructed from high-strength plastic, the large 10L capacity vessel features a 9.38in (238mm) internal diameter, making it suitable for testing larger sample sizes. The O-Ring seal design ensures a secure, leak-proof seal during testing, while the adjustable valve gives users complete control over water levels, allowing for precise measurements every time.
The pycnometer also includes a perforated plastic shelf, designed to support up to three 4in (102mm) specimens simultaneously, as well as a threaded Sink Aspirator vacuum source with tubing and a quick disconnect for easy setup and operation.
