This Porous Stone measures 1.4in (35.6mm) in diameter, 0.25in (6.4mm) in thickness, and is made from durable aluminum oxide material. Designed for geotechnical testing, the rigid disc supports cylindrical soil samples while facilitating two-way fluid flow.

We offer a wide range of Porous Stones for various lab applications, including triaxial shear, permeability, direct shear, consolidation, and more. These stones enable the flow and measurement of water and other permeants during testing while preventing fine particles from contaminating the system. With a permeability range of 15-18ft³ (424-510L) of air per square foot and an average pore size of 179µm, our high-quality porous stones ensure reliable performance.
