Base and top housing fit together with a leakproof O-ring seal and stainless steel over-center clamp assembly. Parts clean up with water. Base volume is 134in3 (2,200ml), and sight tube has 0-9.5% x 0.25% calibration. Comes with Funnel, Syringe, Tamper, Strike-Off Bar, Calibrated Cup, and Mallet in a plastic Case. Measuring Air Content
Fill the Volumetair air meter with a sample of your concrete mix. Use the tamping rod to compact the mix, make sure it’s evenly distributed in the meter. Base volume of the meter is 134in³ (2,200ml) for precise air content measurement.
Sight Tube Reading
Read the air content value from the sight tube and record for further analysis.
Calculating Air Content
Air Content (%) = (Volume of Air / Total Volume of Concrete) x 100

Tips and Precautions

Use a calibrated cup to measure the volume of concrete mix added to the meter.
