Spacers are essential accessories used alongside test platens to adjust the vertical working clearance height within a machine's load frame. They are designed to accommodate the testing of samples of various types and sizes, preventing the over-extension of the load frame's piston during operation.

Model Types Spacers are available in four distinct model types to suit different machine configurations and testing requirements:
- Holding Stem Mount: Designed to mount against the machine's upper crosshead using a holding stem.
- Socket Head Bolt Mount: Attaches to the machine's upper crosshead via a socket head bolt.
- Draw Rod Mount: Connects to the machine's upper crosshead using a draw rod method.
- Lower Crosshead Spacer: Sits on the machine's lower crosshead and is used in conjunction with a bearing platen.
