Sand Equivalent Test Sets are designed to determine the relative amounts of clay-like fines in granular soils and fine aggregates. These sets include all the essential components needed to perform tests according to ASTM and AASHTO standards, except for the shaker.

Each Sand Equivalent Test Set contains: four clear plastic graduated cylinders, a siphon assembly, irrigator tube, weighted foot assembly, plastic funnel, solid stopper, 8oz stock solution, and a measuring tin. Individual replacement parts are also available as needed.

The set is packaged in a durable, vinyl-covered plastic case with a latching lid and carrying handle for easy transport.
