The Sample Conditioning Chamber is a precision-engineered solution designed to maintain asphalt samples at exact temperatures before testing. With a compact footprint, this chamber is ideal for laboratories that need reliable, consistent conditioning for IDEAL-CT, SCB, I-FIT, and other asphalt tests.

Temperature Control & Uniformity The chamber delivers precise, PID-controlled temperatures ranging from 0.0°C to 45.0°C (32.0°F to 113.0°F) with an accuracy of ±0.2°C. Continuous forced air circulation ensures uniform temperature distribution throughout the chamber, maintaining uniformity to ±0.5°C. This level of precision is critical for ensuring accurate and repeatable test results.

Capacity & Flexibility The 2.4ft³ (67.6L) chamber is designed to accommodate a wide range of sample sizes. It can hold up to six 6in (152mm) diameter specimens or up to sixteen 4in (102mm) diameter specimens, depending on their height. Two adjustable shelves provide flexible configuration options to suit different testing needs.

Controls & Connectivity The microprocessor controller features an LED display that shows both the setpoint and current chamber temperatures, making it easy to monitor and adjust settings at a glance. An interior 1 amp double outlet supports the use of data loggers or stirrers inside the chamber, enabling enhanced data collection and sample management during the conditioning process.

Construction & Design Built for durability, the chamber features a welded steel outer case with a baked enamel finish, ensuring long-lasting performance in demanding laboratory environments. Adjustable leveling feet allow for stable placement on uneven surfaces, and a condensation drip tray helps keep the workspace clean and dry.
