How It Works
The extraction process begins with hot plates generating solvent vapor that passes around and through a sample contained in two wire mesh cones lined with filter paper. The reflux solvent then condenses on the water-cooled condenser and percolates through the sample repeatedly until all the bitumen has been fully extracted. This thorough process ensures accurate and reliable results every time.
