Wireless Modular Detection Sensor At the core of all three Profometer versions is a wireless modular detection sensor with superior range and accuracy. It can detect individual rebars and determine concrete cover at depths of up to 7.3in (185.5mm), with an accuracy of ±0.04–0.16in (±1–4mm) depending on depth. Bar diameters can be measured at depths of up to 2.5in (63.5mm) with an accuracy of ±1 rebar size. Detection limits and accuracy are influenced by both the concrete cover depth and the diameter of the steel bars.

Profometer Basic and Pro Models The Basic and Pro models are designed to integrate seamlessly with an Apple iPad (iPadOS 14.0 or later) via a secure, encrypted Bluetooth connection. The iPad's powerful processing capacity, high-resolution display, and built-in reporting features make it the ideal platform for viewing, collecting, and reporting inspection data. With a cellular or Wi-Fi connection, visualizations, graphics, and reports can be instantly uploaded to the cloud and shared from any location.

Profometer Lite Model The Profometer Lite is the sensor only — a lightweight, fully wireless solution that doesn't require an iPad or additional software. Despite its simplicity, the Lite model performs basic rebar location, orientation, and estimations of bar size and cover to the same level of performance as the other Profometer models. Readings and values are displayed on a built-in OLED screen. Note that the Lite model does not include visualizations, statistics, or cloud-based reporting, and the wheeled cart is not included.

Software Subscription Basic and Pro models come with a five-year software subscription, including access to Proceq Workspace, free support, updates, and new releases for five years from the date of purchase. After five years, the software remains fully functional, and support and updates can be continued with the optional purchase of a new five-year subscription.
