Proceq GP8000 Lite Portable GPR – Complete Kit for Concrete & Subsurface Scanning

The Proceq GP8000 Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) is a cutting-edge, handheld GPR system designed for comprehensive subsurface evaluation of concrete structures. Its ultrawideband detection, powered by Stepped Frequency Continuous Wave (SFCW) technology, allows it to scan all frequencies from 0.2 to 4.0GHz. This unparalleled versatility makes it ideal for fast integrity assessment, as-built verification, precise thickness measurement, and crucial hit prevention when marking drilling, cutting, and coring locations in concrete bridges, buildings, pavements, and other constructions.

The GP8000 is adept at detecting a wide range of embedded elements, including steel reinforcing bars and mesh, secondary layers of reinforcement, tendon ducts, cables, conduits, and other utilities. It can also identify voids, inclusions, and discontinuities, and accurately measure slab or wall thicknesses from a single side.

Two versions are available: the Proceq GP8000 Pro and the Proceq GP8000 Lite. The Pro version comes with the full-featured Pro software, offering an extensive range of capabilities for advanced analysis and reporting. The Lite version, with its streamlined Lite software, is perfect for quick and efficient thickness measurements and reliable detection of rebar and live wires, catering to users needing a focused, fast-action tool.

Both GPR models integrate wirelessly with a user-supplied Apple iPad (iPadOS 13.6 or higher) running the Pro GPR software. This integration harnesses the iPad's powerful post-processing capacity, high visual resolution, and robust reporting and collaboration features, creating an ideal platform for viewing, collecting, and distributing results. Visualizations, detailed graphics, and report data can be instantly shared to the cloud from any location, enhancing project efficiency.

For an even more immersive experience, when used with an Augmented Reality (AR)-capable iPad, the GP8000 provides real-time, in-situ imaging of subsurface conditions. 2D and 3D visualizations are overlaid directly onto the real-world environment as you look through the iPad, offering the industry's highest resolution for immediate insights. The Pro software further extends its utility by enabling the detection of electrical lines with live current, a critical safety feature, and provides seamless cloud connectivity for live data sharing and comprehensive reporting.

Data management and security are paramount. The Proceq Logbook feature within the software app ensures that all data is tracked and secured in the cloud. This allows for convenient post-processing and data review from any iPad signed into the connected Proceq app. Every measurement, change, and setting is meticulously tracked and included with each scan. Additionally, geolocation data, photos, audio notes, and comments can be appended to scans, facilitating rapid reporting of detailed information to off-site personnel.

The GP8000 supports various measurement modes, including precise line scans and comprehensive area scans on grids up to 1,076ft2 (100m2). It can detect rebar up to 60 inches (1,500mm) deep, with results clearly rendered on the display. Users can review scans in multiple modes, including non-migrated scan, migrated heatmap, and time slice/depth slice. Data can be easily shared with clients and stakeholders in various formats, including CSV and HTML for data, and JPG, PNG, and SEGY for images.

The probe antenna is robustly housed in a four-wheel scan car, offering 8mm of ground clearance for smooth operation over uneven surfaces and featuring laser guidance for highly accurate GPR data acquisition. The unit is powered by convenient battery packs containing eight rechargeable or easily replaceable AA batteries, providing up to 3.5 hours of continuous operation. The integrated Wi-Fi module ensures completely independent operation from the iPad, with a generous wireless range of up to 20 meters.

The Pro GPR model includes permanent operating software and offers access to the Proceq Workspace. Users benefit from five years of free support, updates, and new releases after the initial purchase. The software remains fully functional beyond this period, and continued full support and upgrades can be secured with the optional purchase of a five-year extension. Importantly, users have the flexibility to replace or upgrade their Apple iPad hardware and operating systems at any time to enhance performance without the need to replace the GPR sensor itself.

The package includes the sensor unit, two battery packs, a Wi-Fi module, a carrying strap, chalk, two sizes of grid paper, a durable carrying case, and a Pro License.
