Proceq GPR Live GP8000 (Basic Package)

The Proceq GP8000 GPR is a handheld ground-penetrating radar system designed for advanced subsurface evaluation of concrete structures like bridges, buildings, pavements, and more. Equipped with ultrawideband detection, it uses stepped frequency continuous wave (SFCW) technology to scan across frequencies from 0.2 to 4.0 GHz. This versatile system supports fast integrity assessments, as-built verifications, thickness measurements, and precise marking for drilling, cutting, or coring.

The GP8000 identifies steel reinforcement, tendon ducts, cables, conduits, voids, inclusions, and slab or wall thicknesses from a single side. It is available in two versions: the Pro model, with advanced features and software, and the Lite model, tailored for streamlined use, such as measuring thickness or locating rebar and live wires.

The Pro model integrates wirelessly with an Apple iPad running iPadOS 13.6 or higher, leveraging Pro software for high-resolution data visualization, post-processing, reporting, and instant cloud sharing. Augmented reality (AR)-enabled iPads take this a step further, overlaying 2D and 3D visualizations on real-world environments for real-time imaging of subsurface conditions. The Pro software also detects live current in electrical lines and provides robust cloud connectivity for seamless data sharing.

Scans and data are automatically tracked and secured through the Proceq Logbook feature, allowing for review, notes, and post-processing from any connected iPad. The system supports geolocation tagging, photos, audio notes, and comments for detailed reporting, ideal for collaboration with off-site teams. Measurement options include line scans or grid-based area scans up to 1,076 ft² (100 m²), with rebars detected up to 60 in (1,500 mm) deep. Users can share visuals and data in formats such as CSV, HTML, JPG, PNG, and SEGY.

The GP8000's probe antenna is housed in a four-wheel scan car with 8 mm ground clearance and laser-guided accuracy. Powered by eight AA batteries, the unit offers up to 3.5 hours of continuous operation. A built-in Wi-Fi module provides independent operation from the iPad with a 20 m wireless range.

The Pro GPR system includes permanent operating software and access to Proceq Workspace. Users receive free updates and support for five years, with the option to extend services. The software remains fully operational after the initial five years. The modular design allows easy iPad hardware upgrades without replacing the GPR sensor.

Included in the package are the GPR sensor, two battery packs, Wi-Fi module, carrying strap, chalk, grid paper (in two sizes), a carrying case, and a Lite software license.
