This durable and lightweight HPVC plastic strike-off plate is an economical choice for performing concrete unit weight (density) tests in accordance with ASTM and AASHTO standards. Its smooth, rigid surface is ideal for striking off excess concrete from the top of a unit weight measure, ensuring an accurate, level sample volume.
To select the correct size, choose a plate that is at least 2 inches larger than the diameter of your unit weight measure. This 14 x 14-inch plate is our most popular size, as it is perfectly suited for use with 1/2 ft³ and 1 ft³ unit weight buckets.
