These Pad Caps are durable, reusable polyurethane pads designed for use with the Cube Maker System to cap the ends of 2x2in (51x51mm) concrete test cubes. Capping ensures that compressive loads are applied uniformly over the entire surface area during strength testing, leading to more accurate and reliable results.
This package includes two pairs of caps with different durometers (hardness levels) to accommodate a range of concrete strengths. The red caps are designed for testing concrete with compressive strengths up to 4,000psi (27.6MPa). The harder, amber-colored caps are engineered for testing high-strength concrete exceeding 4,000psi.
These high-quality polyurethane pads can be reused up to 300 times, offering a cost-effective and efficient alternative to traditional capping methods. A package of four includes two red caps and two amber caps.
