The Motorized Sand Equivalent Shaker is designed to efficiently agitate fine aggregate samples in a specialized graduated cylinder, enhancing repeatability and reducing variability compared to manual shaking methods. It ensures precise speed and stroke, making it an ideal tool for labs regularly conducting sand equivalent tests.

Equipped with a digital timer, the shaker offers fixed intervals of 45 seconds or 10 minutes for greater accuracy and performance. The timer improves measurement reliability and provides clear countdown visibility during testing. Operating at 175 cycles per minute with an 8-inch (203mm) throw, the shaker delivers smooth, quiet, and efficient performance. A robust 1/8hp DC sealed gear motor is securely housed in a durable metal case.

For safety, this model features a hinged cover with top viewing windows, reducing the risk of contact with moving components. The cover must be closed for operation, ensuring user safety and confidence. Allow 10 inches (254mm) of additional height clearance to open the cover. A clear plastic graduated test cylinder, sold separately, is secured by a base pin and spring-loaded holder.
