The Micro-Deval Jar w/ Locking Cover is stainless steel and used with the Micro-Deval Apparatus for durability and abrasion-resistance measurements of mineral aggregates. Each 5L capacity jar accommodates up to 5,000g of HMA-922 Abrasive Charge. The aggregate sample and stainless steel abrasive charge is placed in the jar with water, and the cover locked to begin rotation. Available as a replacement unit or to increase testing efficiency.
