The Aquafog XE-2000-EXP is Jaybird's largest centrifugal fogging system. It is built for high-output industrial humidification, evaporative cooling, and environmental control in hazardous settings that call for an explosion-proof motor.
Unlike high-pressure nozzle systems and spinning disc foggers, the XE uses a nozzle-free centrifugal atomizer. This design helps prevent clogging while delivering high-volume, ultra-fine fog.
The Explosion-Proof (EXP) model is made for classified environments where hazardous vapors, dust, or combustible particles may be present. Its motor is rated for Class I, Group D and Class II, Groups F & G locations.
Important: Explosion-Proof Power Connection
Explosion-proof units must be connected with properly rated explosion-proof electrical components, including both the male plug and the matching female receptacle.
A standard plug, receptacle, or power connection will void the unit's explosion-proof protection.
Jaybird offers an optional explosion-proof male plug for the unit's power cord. The female receptacle and all other related electrical components must also be properly rated, and the customer or installing contractor is responsible for supplying them.
How It Works
The XE 2000 produces tiny fog particles that evaporate quickly, making it ideal for humidification and evaporative cooling. A stainless-steel visual flowmeter panel regulates output. The unit can run continuously or be automated with a secondary controller.
Indoor and outdoor applications include humidification, evaporative cooling, and chemical fogging.
Built for Harsh Environments
Stainless-steel construction and UV-stabilized polymers hold up in demanding conditions. The EXP model comes with 20' of water line and 16' of drainage line. Line lengths can be customized when you place your order.
