I use these splicers in concrete slabs and footings but also in vertical applications where crowbars can be used effectively, and they work great even when the rebar is allowed to rotate. Just slide a splicer onto each bar then slide them back to connect the bars and your done! Minimum of two splicers per lap splice. The more you rotate the rebar the more couplers you will need.

1. Slide a Splicer onto each bar in opposite directions.

2. Move the two together and slide each Splicer back in opposite direction to secure the bars.
