Our Penetration Cones are designed for use with Universal Asphalt Penetrometers and are ideal for testing asphalt binder, grease, and a variety of other materials. Available in three models, each cone is constructed from a different hard metal to suit specific testing requirements.
Grease Penetration Cone, Hollow Brass Crafted from durable brass and features a removable nut and stem for easy maintenance. Designed to meet the requirements of ASTM D217 and ASTM D937, this cone is ideal for testing grease. It features a 90° cone with a removable 30° hardened stainless steel tip for precise, reliable measurements. The total cone weight is 102.5g (0.266lb).
