Gilson TS-1 Testing Screen, Hydraulic

Gilson Testing Screens are the best for particle size analysis of large samples of aggregate materials, slag, ores, and other materials that contain coarse material.

Batch sizes up to 1 cubic foot (0.028m³) or larger can be processed into 6 fractions in as little as 3 minutes depending on the material being used. The 1 cubic foot pan maximum sample volume indicates the capacity and efficiency of the equipment to process large batch sizes quickly and accurately. Vibration and amplitude are fixed at highest quality for mineral aggregates in the 4in (101mm) to No. 4 (4.75mm) range. But alternatives are available if you need to separate finer materials with this testing screen shaker.

All Gilson Testing Screens Shakers have the same performance characteristics but differ in the type of clamping mechanism, safeguarding device, tray slot capacity and other operating features.

The power mechanism on all testing screens are fully enclosed for extra safety and the one-half horse power motor has a starter switch and an overload protection.

Screen Trays and Dustpans are sold separately and can be shared and used on all Gilson Testing Screens.

Cloth and are available in various lengths with opening sizes to ASTM E11 or ISO 565 specification cloth or punched steel plates.

All Gilson Testing Screens are designed to be mounted on a solid floor system. It is recommended that all Gilson Testing Screens be anchored to a concrete floor with anchor bolts.

TS-1 Gilson Testing Screens use a quick-acting hydraulic pump system to clamp the trays to the testing screen shaker. Trays are removed by the same handle. A quantity of 6 tray slots holds 5 Screen Trays and a dustpan. This eco-friendly screen shaker is for labs with moderate particle testing workload.
