  • World’s #1 wireless sensor for concrete curing and hardening

  • Fully embedded sensor attaches to rebar with built-in strap for easy installation

  • Collects temperature data from two points: (i) the probe at the tip of the cable and (ii) from inside the sensor body

  • Calculates in-place concrete strength automatically using the maturity method

  • Results and temperature data available accessible remotely and in real-time through the free SmartRock app and Giatec 360 dashboard

  • Extended temperature sensor cable for mass concrete

  • Wireless range up to 40 feet (12 meters)

  • Measurement frequency every 15 minutes

  • Measurement accuracy ± 1.8 °F (±1°C)

  • Waterproof design for easy installation

  • SmartRock sensor data provides real-time insights into concrete temperature and concrete strength, accessible through a cloud-based dashboard, enhancing operational efficiency and reducing the need for physical site visits.

These features make sure SmartRock sensor meets industry standards and provides practical benefits like optimizing curing conditions, allowing you to measure temperature differentials, and faster construction timelines.

How it Works

SmartRock wireless concrete sensor works by collecting temperature data from two points independently: (i) the probe at the tip of the cable and (ii) from inside the sensor body. This data is then used to calculate in-place concrete strength automatically using the maturity method, while also measure temperature differentials between the core and edge of concrete pours. The sensor wirelessly transmits data to the SmartRock app and Giatec 360 dashboard for real-time monitoring and analysis. Fully embedded in the concrete, it ensures accurate and reliable data. This seamless integration into the concrete structure facilitates continuous and precise monitoring, which is crucial for concrete integrity.

Technical Specifications

  • Reading Range: -22 to +181°F (-30 to 85°C)

  • Measurement Accuracy: ± 1.8 °F (±1°C)

  • Measurement Resolution: ± 1.8 °F (±0.1°C)

  • Frequency: Once every 15 mins.

  • Wireless Signal Range: Up to 40 feet (up to 12 m) of wireless signal range for each sensor

  • Cable Length: 12 in (30 cm), 10 ft (3 m), or 50 ft (15.2 m) by request

  • Formats: Export as PDF or CSV
